A Hymn of Colhven - Bequeath to We

A hymn praising the blessings of the gods, in their order of arrival. This is taught very early on in most children's education as song of gratitude for creation, and is generally well-known around the common folk of Colhven.

Because it explicitly invokes all the gods, Feren teaches this to his students as a good base song to start channeling their healing powers. Although the common form sung excludes the last verse praising the blessings of the dark god, Feren likes to teach the full version (as it is sung in Arda), as he believes in completeness.

Right: Brother Feren, a Troubadour at the Colhven Abbey and the one who teaches the Bard's path of healership. He was a mediocre healer until he started losing his sight (a genetic condition), after which he discovered the power of song. Although it caused him a lot of distress at the time, he now considers his blinding to be the gods' blessing to him and is a strong believer in the adage 'when one door closes another opens'.
